Firstly, you need to understand yourself – your skills, values, personality, knowledge, strengths, interests and expertise. Then get clear about the preferred environment you’d like (small teams/large teams, people, culture etc); what roles might be suitable (what do you want to be doing) and other needs (financial, flexibility, opportunities for development and learning). Once you’re clear about what would suit you and your personality, then you can start your job search with clear targets and goals.
