The most important thing is to find out what interests you and what your skills are and what roles you might be suitable for. Then create your CV and LinkedIn profile. Identify the organisations you might be interested in joining, consider whether you know anyone who could help with some advice, background and maybe introductions. Consider volunteering in the time you have available to build up your skills. Keep going – but make sure you’re aiming at the right thing!
